Potter-Dix Schools

Clean Sweep! The Potter-Dix High School Quiz Bowl Team traveled on Wednesday, February 26, to Bayard for the first meet of the season. Each school split its teams into two, with both an A and B team competing. Potter-Dix dominated, securing both 1st and 2nd place! Not only that, but four of the eight All-Meet winners were from Potter-Dix: Dru Weimer, Kenzie Shoemaker, Devani Frerichs, and Giacomo Varra. But wait, there’s more—Dru Weimer was named MVP of the meet for scoring the most points and was crowned the All-Meet Champion. To top it off, Devani and Giacomo, both junior high students competing in a high school meet, earned All-Meet honors. A huge thank you to Bayard for hosting, to the team for their support of each other, and to the faculty for providing these students with such a strong academic foundation.
