Mrs. Krista Deal, the 6th grade teacher at Potter-Dix Elementary, was honored by the Highline Internet Company, of Dalton, Nebraska, as their Teacher of the Month. All the K-6 students in Dix were present at an assembly for Mrs. Deal to receive her award. Mrs. Deal was nominated for her dedication, caring for her students, and having high expectations.
Mrs. Deal was awarded a gift basket, flowers, and a certificate from Highline for being the Teacher of the Month.
